A huge task indeed! I am working on icebreakers or introduction cards. A bit like business cards, but with facts, statistics, weird and intriguing photography, cheesy opening lines and characters as well as cards that can be passed about and given to people in situations where they might not start a conversation otherwise.
Like you said, people are more willing to chat someone up online or through a newspaper than to go up and start a conversation with someone they fancy or are interested in on the train or living next door to them.
This may be a big flop, but I have to start somewhere.

How do you plan to get people away from virtual interation? Sounds like a huge task indeed.
